Clean Air Council Urges Representative Fitzpatrick to Reject House’s Anti-Transit Bill

The U.S. House of Representatives is currently considering H.R. 7, the anti-transit American Energy and Infrastructure Jobs Act of 2012.  The bill proposes massive cuts in federal funding for public transit and traffic-cutting programs essential to the economic and environmental health of our country’s major metropolitan areas.  Today, the Clean Air Council sent Representative Mike Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania’s 8th District a letter urging him to reject the unprecedented cuts contained in this bill.  Click here to read the letter and learn about this truly awful bill.
