The Philadelphia Diesel Difference Working Group has been formed to help build a coalition of diverse partners with a mutual interest in reducing air pollution from diesel engines in the greater Philadelphia area through voluntary programs and the use of innovative strategies including market-based approaches.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • PDD is hosting a panel discussion on the "Business Outlook for Diesel Engine Users: What to Expect in 2010." It will take place at the Community College of Pennsylvania on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 9 AM until Noon. Five of the major heavy duty engine manufacturers are scheduled to be on the panel.   • PDD would like to quantify emission reductions the region has seen, because of the use of diesel retrofits and clean diesel technologies. PDD invites your fleet to participate by filling out this Survey of Diesel Retrofit Projects (.doc, 69KB) and returning it to us. Please spread the word to other fleets that have also taken steps to reduce their diesel emissions.
