Greenfest Philly is the largest environmental festival in the Philadelphia area. With over 100 exhibitors and vendors, Greenfest provides a unique opportunity for 15,000+ attendees to learn about living life a little greener while having fun. The festival transforms the newly redesigned Headhouse Plaza into a lively, fun and educational outdoor marketplace in the heart of Philadelphia’s popular Queen Village neighborhood.
Clean Air Council spent over a decade transforming Greenfest Philly into a self-sustaining pop-up city that invites attendees to spend more and more time every year at the festival with fun features like live music, local beer garden, sustainable food vendors, and much more! The festival engages audiences in ways to make their lives and consumer choices more environmentally sustainable.
A truly green festival, Greenfest Philly takes a number of steps to make sure the event is produced sustainably.
• All exhibitors are evaluated by Clean Air Council staff to ensure they are providing service, information, or goods that are sustainable
• Powered by two on-site solar generators
• Over 80% of waste is composted or recycled
• Local and organic food vendors
• FREE bicycle valet for attendees
