Greenfest Philly Offers Hands-On Activities, Organic Food, Live Music, Free Giveaways and Family Fun for All
Philadelphia’s largest environmental festival highlights the region’s green innovators; teaches thousands that going green is something we can all do.
WHAT: Greenfest Philly has become one of Philadelphia’s most popular outdoor summer festivals. In its 6th year, Greenfest Philly seeks to create a fun environment to educate the public about steps they can take to be more sustainable in their daily lives. The festival will also showcase businesses, regional green innovators, and nonprofits of all sizes with strong commitments to sustainability.
GREENFEST PHILLY IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Activities Include:
· Take a spin in an electric car - the new Chevy Volt
· Vote for your favorite Philly Green Innovator
· Hourly surprise FREE “Green Giveaways” including rain barrel raffle, Phillies Go Green pins and rally towels, FREE t shirts, FREE reusable water bottles, FREE vegan cheese and MORE
· Kids’ Korner featuring hands-on activities, kids’ crafts and more!
· Live music, DJs and dancing all day
· Local and organic food vendors, local businesses selling green products
· FREE E-Waste collection
· FREE Recycling bin distribution
· Exclusive VIP tent for Clean Air Council members
