Protecting the Air We All Breathe (Susquehanna County Workshop on 9/24/2011)
The Clean Air Council gave a community workshop on Saturday, September 24th from 2:00 - 5:30pm at Mountain View High School in Susquehanna County. The presentation explored the potential health impacts from the expanding natural gas industry and tools that the public could use to protect everyone’s right to breathe clean air. The Council worked with community leaders to organize the workshop and it was endorsed by local grassroots groups and organizations working on the issue. The workshop covered topics ranging from regulations, air quality and health impacts to public commenting, air monitoring, and mapping of natural gas operations.
