SUMMARY:40th Annual Run for Clean Air presented by Toyota Hybrids
DESCRIPTION:2021 is a huge landmark for the Run for Clean Air presented by Toyota Hybrids\, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the race. The Run for Clean Air is one of the region’s longest-running charity races and its largest Earth Day event. The Run is a celebration of sustainable and healthy neighborhoods\, clean air\, and improvements in the region’s overall environmental health. Year after year\, sponsors\, volunteers\, runners\, walkers and families choose to celebrate Earth Day with Clean Air Council. \nFor a second year\, the Run for Clean Air presented by Toyota Hybrids will be a virtual race\, giving runners the freedom and flexibility to run their race when and where they like. Runners are encouraged to run their virtual race and submit their times on Saturday\, April 17th to participate in the live raceday result broadcast on our Facebook page. But of course\, you are welcome to run any time during Earth Week\, from April 17th through the 25th. \nAll virtual runners and walkers will receive a race shirt and finisher medal.

DESCRIPTION:Interested in making a difference in your community? Want to meet local groups and organizations that are making a difference in Delco? Want to help KEEP DELCO BEAUTIFUL? Join us on Saturday\, March 15th from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM in Sun Village Park\, in the City of Chester for the Keep Delco Beautiful Launch Event. \nRegister Here \n​Keep Delco Beautiful is a partnership of many organizations in Delaware County which are tirelessly working to make our community safe\, clean\, and beautiful. \nTo bring awareness to this important partnership\, and provide an opportunity for community members to get acquainted with all the wonderful groups working to Keep Delco Beautiful\, there will be a Launch Event on Saturday\, March 15th from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM in Sun Village Park\, in the City of Chester. \nThe event will include a community clean up (picking up litter\, clearing debris\, and cutting back invasive plants)\, followed by a celebration featuring food and information sharing in Sun Village Park\, Chester City. Gloves\, bags\, and other supplies will be provided.
