2020 Run for Clean Air In-Person Pickup

Almost half a year after our entirely virtual Run for Clean Air in April 2020, we’re excited to finally announce that we’re holding an in-person shirt/medal pickup at the Rittenhouse Farmers Market next Tuesday 10/13 from 10am-2pm and Saturday 10/17 from 9am-3pm. We’ll be on the northwest corner of the market by 19th and Walnut.

Not only will we be outside in the fresh air, but we’ll be enforcing a 100% masked socially distanced pickup on the outer edge of the Rittenhouse Farmers Market to maximize everyone’s safety.

Many runners allowed us to hold on to their Run swag to be picked up in person, saving us hundreds of dollars in shipping costs, and for that we are extremely grateful!

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we all waited for conditions in Philadelphia to be safe enough for an in-person pickup, and in the end we had to alter our plans to ensure everyone’s safety.

When originally forced to rethink the 2020 Run for Clean Air, we were hoping that it would be safe enough to host a pickup day from our office in May, maybe June at the latest. We had no idea what a roller coaster ride 2020 would truly be, and it took us 6 months to give up the idea that we could invite runners into our office for a pickup. We finally decided that the only way to ensure the safety of our runners and staff was to hold the pickup outside in the park, and honestly, it feels like the right thing to do.
