Clean Air Council

Become a Member

The Clean Air Council is a member-supported, environmental health nonprofit organization working to protect everyone’s right to a healthy environment. The Council’s top programmatic priority is climate change. Since its start in 1967, the Council’s effectiveness depends in large part on the support of its members.

There are 3 ways to become a Clean Air Council member:

  1. Make a financial donation
  2. Take two actions from the many email alerts the Council sends weekly or posts on social media to use your voice and advance environmental policy
  3. Volunteer four hours of your time a year on a Council program or local environmental issue the Council supports

Clean Air Council values your voice and time and sees actions and volunteering as an integral part of the Council’s mission that should be rewarded with the same membership status as financial contributions.

As a member, you are providing the Council with the important resources we need to fight for clean air, clean water, and public health. You’re joining a diverse group of other Council members in advocating for a healthier environment from our government, our elected officials, the judicial system, and industry. The Council’s groundbreaking work would simply not be possible without our members. Our members support the Council financially, give the Council credibility with elected officials, and standing in court in litigation.

Give through your Workplace

Many workplaces give their employees the opportunity to easily donate to nonprofits, such as the Council, through workplace giving! If your employer offers a payroll contribution program or some other method of workplace giving, this is one of the easiest and most effective ways you can support the Council.

Clean Air Council is a EarthShare Nonprofit Partner, a nationwide network of the country’s most respected environmental and conservation nonprofits. Your contribution at your workplace creates a reliable source of funding throughout the year to help the Council.
