The first Virtual Greenfest Philly presented by Toyota Hybrids is a wrap!
2020 marks the 15th annual Greenfest Philly presented by Toyota Hybrids. 2020 is also the year we were forced to rethink Greenfest’s format in light of the pandemic. If you’ve been following along, you know that Greenfest went virtual this year, featuring 2 full weeks of interactive and engaging live streams and webinars.
All of us at Clean Air Council are proud of the amazing lineup that came together this year. We’ve had dozens of great features from local experts reflecting a variety of environmental issues.
A few notable features were:
- The premier of our Clean Air Council’s first podcast ‘On Air with Clean Air Council’
- Vegan cooking demos
- A documentary screening and live art project about plastic bags
- Live local music powered by Community Energy (here, here, and here)
- Sustainable commuting, urban biking and pedestrian advocacy guides
- A virtual Toyota Hybrids Ride and Drive
We are all particularly proud of the virtual Toyota Hybrids Ride and Drive. We put a tremendous amount of work into both the video and live Q&A to make it feel like an in-person festival experience. The video we prepared gave a tour of the Highlander Hybrid’s features, putting you so close to the vehicle you can almost reach out and touch it.
If you missed the virtual Toyota Hybrids Ride and Drive, we highly recommend you go back and watch it. The live Q&A was amazingly informative with great questions from our audience.Toyota’s Hybrid expert, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable answering everything with ease and clarity.
