Celebrate 40 years of Clean Air Running
Dear Runners,
In 1982, a local environmental organization held the first-ever Run for Clean Air, attracting little over 100 participants running 5 miles along Forbidden Drive in Wissahickon Valley Park to support the environment. Fast forward to 2021 and the very same organization, Clean Air Council, is holding its 40th annual Run for Clean Air! The event has grown and changed over the years, becoming the region’s largest Earth Day celebration and attracting thousands of runners but the mission has stayed the same; celebrate Earth Day and another year of protecting our environment.
For the 8th year in a row, Toyota Hybrids has partnered with Clean Air Council to bring the Run for Clean Air to the region’s runners and environmentalists alike. As the proud presenting sponsor of the 2021 Run for Clean Air, Toyota Hybrids is committed to the environmental community. Our work together over the past 8 years reminds us that we are indeed stronger together and will be here for each other now and in the bright future ahead. Visit Toyota.com/hybrids to learn more about Toyota’s groundbreaking hybrid lineup.
Join in on the annual Run for Clean Air presented by Toyota Hybrids now as a Virtual Race kicking off on April 17th and lasting all Earth Week until April 25th. As a Virtual Race, we can run together safely as a community and for a common goal, anywhere in the world!
If you still haven’t signed up for the Run for Clean Air, visit cleanair.org/run/ to register for the event.
See you at the starting line,
