Council Attorneys Publish Article on Environmental Rights Amendment

Clean Air Council Executive Director Joseph Otis Minott, Esq. and Legal Fellow Paul Cohen published an article in Bloomberg BNA on the Environmental Rights Amendment. The article discusses the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s recent PEDF decision, which has strengthened citizens’ constitutional environmental rights and altered statewide environmental litigation and policy. The article highlights the groundbreaking work of the Council on litigation in the Middlesex Township case (by Council attorneys Alex Bomstein and Robert Routh), and litigation related to the Mariner East pipeline (including Council attorney Kathryn Urbanowicz).
