DIY Workshops: Get your hands dirty at Greenfest Philly
Are you looking to bring more green into your home? Succulents are all the rage and you can learn how to create unique arrangements with Beaucycled at Greenfest Philly! This year Beaucycled will debut a new series of workshops that are perfect for seasoned or “wannabe” green thumbs. Sign up for one – or all four!
DIY Teacup Succulent Workshop – Enroll in the traditional succulent workshop and learn the basics of planting and caring for your very own succulent arrangement. The workshop cost is only $14 and includes all the supplies you need with plenty of vintage teacups to choose from. Tickets: 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m.
Cactuses and Crystals Succulent Workshop – Cactus and Crystals is a BRAND NEW workshop concept introducing planting with guidance from your chosen healing crystal and incorporating it as decor to your succulent arrangement. The workshop cost is $16 and includes all the supplies you need with plenty of crystals and vintage planters to choose from. Tickets: 12:30 p.m.
DIY Air Plant Wall Hanging Workshop – The DIY air plant Wall Hanging Workshop is also BRAND NEW to Beaucycled’s workshop series. The Beaucycled team will lead in building a wall hanger that you can completely customize with a choice of yarn and air plants. The workshop cost is $22 and includes all the supplies you need. Tickets: 1:30 p.m.
DIY Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop – The DIY Macrame Plant Hanger workshop is another BRAND NEW class to the workshop series. Let the Beaucycled team show you how to master the square knot in macrame, creating a beautiful plant hanger to elevate your plant life in your home or workplace. The workshop cost is $22 and includes all the supplies you need. Tickets: 2:30 p.m.
Beaucycled will furnish all of the supplies and provide expert instruction. All you need to bring is a little creativity!
Greenfest Philly presented by Toyota Hybrids is the largest environmental festival in the Philadelphia area. With over 100 exhibitors and vendors, Greenfest is the place to learn about living sustainably while having fun! This event has something for everyone: Shopping for local green wares, great food, live music, live demonstrations, kid-friendly activities, and more. Greenfest Philly will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bainbridge Green.
