Keep Delco Beutiful – Sun Village Park Cleanup

Interested in making a difference in your community? Want to meet local groups and organizations that are making a difference in Delco? Want to help KEEP DELCO BEAUTIFUL? Join us on Saturday, March 15th from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM in Sun Village Park, in the City of Chester for the Keep Delco Beautiful Launch Event.
Keep Delco Beautiful is a partnership of many organizations in Delaware County which are tirelessly working to make our community safe, clean, and beautiful.
To bring awareness to this important partnership, and provide an opportunity for community members to get acquainted with all the wonderful groups working to Keep Delco Beautiful, there will be a Launch Event on Saturday, March 15th from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM in Sun Village Park, in the City of Chester.
The event will include a community clean up (picking up litter, clearing debris, and cutting back invasive plants), followed by a celebration featuring food and information sharing in Sun Village Park, Chester City. Gloves, bags, and other supplies will be provided. While refreshments will be provided, each participant is encouraged to pack a reusable bottle to reduce waste.

11:00 AM – Announcements, Housekeeping, and Instructions for Clean Up Kick Off
11:10 AM – Clean Up Commences
12:50 PM – Celebration and Information Sharing Begins
– Community Members Can Grab Food, Visit Tables, and Participate in a Community Art Project!
1:15 PM – Closing Remarks and Thanks to all for participating
1:30 PM – Event Concludes

Community Members and Volunteers from all parts of Delco are encouraged to attend this event to help KEEP DELCO BEAUTIFUL!
Volunteer groups, scout organizations, and individuals are welcome! To register, please fill out this form.
Pre-Registration is NOT required, but highly encouraged, so you can have more time for chatting and chewing!
