Who: All Runners!
What: Race the SEPTA Route 21 Bus at Rush Hour Through Center City
When: Wednesday, March 22nd, 5:30 PM (prepare and line up), 5:41 PM Start
Where: Starting at 40th and Chestnut, we’ll race the 5:41 p.m. bus for 3.1 miles going east through Center City Philadelphia. The race will end at 2nd and Chestnut.
How: We encourage all runners to walk or take SEPTA to 40th and Chestnut. From there, we’ll catch the scheduled 5:41 PM Route 21 bus, which will make all regular stops. The Run for Clean Air Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid will be on hand as a “sweep” safety vehicle and to transport participant belongings to the finish.
And: Thanks to our ever-gracious co-host, Clean Air Council, Happy Hour from will follow the race at Plough and Stars, where all runners will be treated to a free beer and bites. 6pm – 7pm.
All Race the Bus participants will receive a discounted registration to the Run for Clean Air on April, 9. Top 10 finishers who BEAT THE BUS will receive a SEPTA tee shirt.
