BillyPenn: Overhaul of Market Street in Old City gets underwayThe $16 million project to revamp Market Street in Old City started last week. The project will narrow Market Street between 2nd and 6th Street, reducing it from four lanes to three and adding raised bike lanes. The improvement aims to create a more pedestrian-friendly street.

PhillyVoice: SEPTA to add fuel cell electric buses to its fleet early in 2025SEPTA aims to add 10 new electric buses to its transit services in January. The agency hopes to transition all of its vehicles to fully electric by 2040, but currently only 2.7% of buses are fully electric.

PhillyVoice: SEPTA releases redesigned app with improved trip planning and real-time infoSEPTA redesigned its website and made new improvements to its transit app. The app will now reflect the new Wayfinding System, that was rolled out last year, to familiarize users with the new branding. Currently, there are no pop-ups for downloading new schedules, instead, it will automatically update and integrate new schedules. There will be weekly updates to the new app.
