Lenape Nation Signing Ceremony: Treaty of Renewed Friendship

Join Clean Air Council on Wednesday, August 12th from 4-7pm as we gather with partners across the region to sign the Lenape Nation’s Treaty of Renewed Friendship, a commitment to partner with the Lenape Nation of PA as caretakers of the region we call home. The treaty is renewed every four years, can be signed by both organizations and individuals, and provides beautiful opportunity to build new connections and join a community of treaty signers across the region.

4:00pm – 6:00pm:
Meet and greet with members of the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania, learn about the Treaty of Renewed Friendship, and enjoy Woodmere’s sculpture garden, grounds, and galleries.

6:00pm – 7:00pm:
Treaty-Signing Ceremony. If you are moved to sign, join the Lenape in honoring the Delaware River and Lenapehokink.
