Architectural Digest: Singapore Set to Roll Out Driverless Pods for Public Transportation – Meanwhile in Singapore, SMRT Services, Singapore’s second-largest public transportation company, will be able to move up to 8,000 passengers an hour with their fleet of electric-powered autonomous pods.

PlanPhilly: Councilman Johnson schedules hearings for Open Streets initiative – With the support of Councilman Kenyatta Johnson, the Open Streets PHL initiative – which aims to close long stretches of streets to traffic for a day or weekend for safe, and family-friendly recreational purposes – is gaining traction. Open Streets, sometimes called Ciclovía, originated in Bogotá, Colombia during the 1970s. Today, Open Streets occur in cities all over the world and have evolved into community celebrations that get people moving in non-motorized ways.
