Protective Buffers Rally in Harrisburg

On October 7, the Protective Buffers PA coalition will gather in Harrisburg to call for stronger statewide protections from fracking. Pennsylvania’s current minimum setback distances were not designed to protect public health, and nearly two decades of research show that greater distances between shale gas wells and homes, schools, and other sensitive locations can better protect people.
Join us at 12:30 p.m. at the Capitol Rotunda to hear from impacted Pennsylvanians and advocates and urge Governor Shapiro to support health-based protective buffers.
